Hi guys!

First you would forgive me for posting this on such short notice (you’d understand soon enough). Second, this is somewhat personal.

July-August 2018 is a season I’ll always be grateful to God for. I was privileged to be at three camp meetings during that time. I’ve thought about it many times over and I know that it wasn’t just about each camps (separately I mean), but about the divine arrangement; how God brought them all together as though the second was a continuation of the first, and the third a continuation of the second. At the end of August, I knew within me that God had ‘dealt’ with me.

The first was the National Ladies’ Conference powered by School of virtue. Prior to this time, I’d never been physically present at any SOV gathering. I was simply a distant follower, especially of Pastor Segun Coker. But God ordered my steps last year. I remember fever even knocked on my door the morning of the first day, still I packed my bags and went to the camp alone (none of my girls went with me as exams were about 3weeks away). By the end of the first session that night, the fever got so bad I began to feel scared as just a few people knew of my movement that weekend. But the devil failed…as always.

I cannot begin to tell of the things that happened to me in that meeting. I heard, I saw, I felt and my heart was enlarged. You know those prayers in which you find a comfortable corner and settle your destiny? I still have my notes and the wonderful hymns I learned from there.

The Second was Youth Empowerment Conference (YEC) by Bible Life Holiness Ministry. This used to be my major program for August for about four years now and I have always returned home refreshed and re-energised. You need time to refuel yourself for the responsibility awaiting you? Third was Singles Conference by Mount Zion Faith Ministries. Last year was the maiden edition and it was a powerful time in God’s presence. The word came expressly and heartfelt prayers were raised in that meeting. There were sessions when the mothers and fathers in faith prayed over everyone present. The theme was “The Victorious Youth” and I’ll always remember the theme song as well. Please note that this camp is not free. Check the flier below for more details on this year’s program.
